Was that Mike playing Bowler Hat Guy at the end? How did they do that?

Thank God the purge hasn't hit stuff that isn't being hosted on youtube yet.
I'm getting so sick of "This video is not available in your country." Ffff!

People always talk about underrated episodes. Well, this is the one I feel is underrated. I love it! The riffs are so spot on and I love the opening of "Previously, on..." There's the whole Brain Guy leaving thing, complete with a song! I LOVE this episode.

What sort of person continues to stay as a guest in another person's house after the host's spouse is killed?

I wonder if the 80's Pop band "Men Without Hats" got their name from that funny hat wearing guy at the end of the movie?

I love it when they had the remembrance scene of everything that just happened a second ago lol. Did you know that the creepy dark haired guitar player is Ron Wood from the Rolling Stones. He was in that crappy rip-off band called "The Birds", not the other band we all know as 'The Byrds' that sang "turn, turn, turn". I guess for copy-rights sake they hadda put a "Y" in their name because of the other band?

For such an old movie, it at least has good film resolution - really looks like a random British rip-off of Hitchcock's 'The Birds'

This ep would have been better if they started with a cold open, but it's still pretty good.

When they say, "He's in Starfleet" about the bartender, he wasn't in Star Trek, but he did have a bit part in Moon Zero Two as one of the lunar miners. :)

They made an Aeon Flux riff in there, but this episode came out in 1998... how?!?!

Wait, so that was the recorded version of her song? Thank god they didn't let her actually sing!

I'll be honest. I have no idea what all the riffs about the "dog's meat" even mean, but considering what they do say about it, I'm treasuring my ignorance.

So...the villain didn't anticipate that our "brave" heroine could grab a semi-blunt object and fight back while he explained EVERYTHING?

I wonder how many takes it took to finally get the "I cannot stay" song with Brain Guy, Pearl, and Bobo. That was one of the longest single shots I've ever seen in the host segments.

This movie held the distinction of being the most nauseating annoying useless waste of time ever produced by the United Kingdom until Russell Brand…

Hey...Max Rosenberg..didn't he also do The Incredible Melting Man? I only remember his name because in the other episode's credits Tom says "This has Rosenberg to the Max."

I have to wonder how many callbacks they made to this movie when the riffed The Wicker Man.

This is structured and plotted just like a Masterpiece Mystery episode. Most of them are British, and the killer always tells someone how and why he did it at the end. Just like real life, right? Um... wait...

Though it doesn't sound possible, I may like this episode even more than 'Mitchell'. Domestic bitterness, killer bees, atonal rock music... but I think the overkill of toff accents make it the win.

Interesting note about The Birds is that their lead guitarist, the guy with the black hair on the right, is Ronnie Wood, who went on to become guitarist for The Rolling Stones.

So, it's nearly impossible for me to have just one favorite, but the Bowler Hat Guy is definitely one of my top funniest parts.
