Ah yes, it's all so clear to me now. Cold temperatures equals time travel. Yup, yup, yup.... Wait, what?!

I wonder if the original TV show made any attempt to explain why the apes thawed out the humans, then left them unguarded, then knocked them out, then blindfolded them, then drove them to the forbidden zone, and then tried to execute them.

Why thaw them out at all? And if you're going to execute them, why go through that whole process? For that matter, why not lock the room where they were thawing? And why blindfold them for the trip when they didn't know where they were or where they were going and were going to be executed when they got there anyway?

Apes, man. Just can't figure out what goes through their fuzzy heads.

How the HELL did Servo get into the theater?

They sure chopped this turkey up better in season three. All the feminine histrionics in this version slowed it to a crawl in the third act (none of which makes a damn bit of sense, BTW). When the lab coat guy told Catherine that they had actually traveled to the past, I imagined Joel saying something like "Oh, yeah, we'll buy that... NOT!"

As with Mighty Jack and others, this is a Sandy Frankenstein creature. He took a 26 episode TV series, chopped it to bits, and stitched it back together to give it new life as a single "movie." If it seems lumbering and confused, that's at least partly why.

Why didn't anyone think about sending them back into the past like the bots suggested? This was still laughs tho!

It's amazing how much more of the movie (less cuts) one sees in Season 0 vs. the remakes in later Seasons!

Ugh. A real weeper sleeper of a film. The sobbing, gasping and heavy breathing was driving me nuts; glad to see it had the same effect on Tom Servo at 50:45.

One of the first episodes to have an ongoing plot in the host segments. Joel was out of town that week and neither wrote for nor acted in this episode, but his name is still there in the credits.
