the scenes with all the dialogue near the half hour mark are physically painful to watch, more so when you have ADD

George Orwell should have sued the studio who made this.

MSTies really earn their wings by watching this cheese all all the way through in one sitting.

@ 53:05 Crow gives reference to the Prisoner t.v. series. I'm just curious how many MST's got that. They've made references to it before.

I've seen the movie that gets shown in the opening credits, it's actually a lot worse than Stranded in Space.

What made this episode worth watching was the riffs on the grandpa shooting up constantly. "Grandpa with the golden arm" and "He's a good friend, a little messed up, but he's good".

This just plays like a long, bad Twilight Zone episode.

Wow, not even a man and 2 robots could make this worth watching. Yikes, that movie was bad. Only laughed once, when at the climax, they started comparing it to every other 70's action TV show. Once.

Did it annoy anyone else that the trio of 'moons' never varied in their spatial/orbital relationship to each other when shown? The implications defy physics.....

This movie is more like Stranded Indoors. It's almost entirely people talking inside, and when they go outside, they talk inside their cars :-(

This episode is one long tribute to men's department store fashion of the '80s-- Botany 500, Hagar, Dad & Lad, even Sansabelt! I hope Joel was able to update his wardrobe when he left the SoL...

This movie did in fact go to series, but the title was changed to Spider-man Unlimited and evil Wayne Newton was replaced with a talking goat.

The writing on the segments on this episode seem to be more polished, straight forward. It would be interesting to know the back story about which episodes they intended to be submitted for awards or used by the studio as a high example of what the show is about.

Is that a shout-out from Servo to Mike at the very end of the movie? Its right after the random family finds the astronaut on the beach. The father gives his name as "Todd Nelson" and then Servo says "Mike Nelson".

Understandably this series pilot was not picked up in 1973, yet Buddy Ebsens’s unwatchable Barnaby Jones was? Eight seasons of basically an older version of Glenn Corbett (who by the way appeared in two episodes of Barnaby Jones) sleepwalking through tepid plots; nice job ’73 season!

Based on the opening scenes of this movie, I am convinced this was the movie they took some scenes from and edited into Pod People OR vice versa.

Another pilot for a lame TV series that never got off the ground! For all those old school Star Trek fans out there, the "Stranded In Space" guy Neil is Zephram Cochrane inventor of the warp drive from that "Guardian" episode "Metamorphasis" :-)
