Where's all the 'Mission Impossible' references? When The Film Crew did 'Killers from Space' they did one every other time Peter Graves was on screen.

Clone-boy's sneakers are conveniently off when he gets up to investigate the beer can. Which detail we usually miss because we are laughing at his attempt to write an Air Supply song.

I couldn't believe how many boom mics there were in this movie, and the guys never mentioned them.

I don't really get it. Maybe I'm an idiot, but... They returned the clone to the colony after all, and no one other than the family and the reporter and his wife knew about it, so why did they go after them anyway? Like, it doesn't make any sense? Was it just a punishment? Don't do it again or we'll take out your eye, but we'll give you your clone's? What the heck? It's so stupid, the organization was so idiotic and unorganized that it wouldn't be about to function like this.

The ending credits were the best part of this episode, seriously. The sibling rivalry riff with James Arness and Peter Graves! Jesus! I laughed so hard I think I actually busted my gut! ... I need to call Clonus!

I want to see Rifftrax do "The Island" and see how many riffs they can recycle from this episode. I swear I've seen actual remakes that were less faithful.

This one gets bonus points for its Bruce Jenner references. Predictive programming. Plus, it's based on a true story.

Maybe I'm alone in this, but I feel sorry for these kids. They find out they're in this terrible place, and what's going to happen to them... I can't imagine experiencing that. I wind up getting sucked into the story and not enjoying the riffs as much as I should.

Why the hell is there so much sexual tension between Rick and the clone of his father?! Was that intentional? Every time they were on screen together, the first thought that went through my mind was that these guys clearly want to bang each other.

They went to the Biography riffing well a few too many times in this one. Seemed a bit lazy to handle all the Peter Graves' screen time that way . All in all a pretty good episode though, plenty of lol moments.

As cheesy as this movie is, I have to admit that that one woman's lobotomized smile at the end is creepy as hell. (There's something about a person smiling with nothing going on behind the eyes that really makes my skin crawl--which I'd say is why clowns are basically the scariest things in the universe.)

I love that, Jack Noble (the reporter who reunites Richard with his clone-daddy), is the Winter Warlock.
Also, I agree with the bots on the sexual tension between Richard the clone and Ricky the son. Did the filmmakers seriously not notice that?

What do they tell the clones about why NOT ONE person ever writes or visits? America is just that great, that everyone universally forgets all about their old friends instantly? And how do the guides fit in to the America narrative? If it's so great, why don't they go?

At first it seemed strange that they would come up with these omnipotent "Space Children" after having given us largely the same thing with the Observers, but when I remember how many times the original Star Trek broached the same idea the redundancy suddenly feels like a shrewd bit of parody.

Good thing for our hero that the establishment neglected to employ even the simplest of intruder/escape deterrents at their compound, such as oh, say, couple of rolls of barbed wire, or even maybe spring for electrified fencing. At least they had that "no trespassing" sign.
