Archemedes used science to prophecize that in 1000 years, a child prodigy would arrive, stumbling and half blind. He knew that the kid grew up in a house on a sandstone hill, and that in the English language (which did not yet exist) the word "right" would have two meanings. But he was stabbed before he could write down the part where the entire venture was pointless because the kid was going to be captured by a petty local warlord (after denying help from a princess with a small army at her command), which would convince the kid to blow it all up because the world was better off without all that dangerous science stuff.

no, i refuse, worst fears realized, this sums up my beef with the 'mike' era, the slow take over by pearl and stupid skitmonkeys, and less creativity channeled through the 'stars', the bots and resident human. actually, i realize, mike is initially much better than joel 'cause he seems to be into it. but they worked on his mind, broke him down, made him second banana to skitmonkeys.
what is she doing in the sanctuary, i mean the theater? that's holy ground, isn't it?

So, if I'm not mistaken, the delta knights consist of an old dude pretending to be a beggar for some reason, a one-eyed fellow dressed like an old nun, an obese old woman, an Italian artist from the wrong century, and a 12 year old boy. Yep, that's a crack team if there ever was one.

I think this is the most funny MST3K episode. Yes there are some that are yawners. If I don't find myself laughing out loud in the first 10 minutes I switch movies. Speaking of switching Pearl trades places with Mike just for a short bit and shares a mint with the bots: "Gee, thanks Pearl!" the riffs for her are wonderful:"ewww.. Wizard whizz.. haha. Yes I think the only episode with an instance of pee throwing. Also I could never understand all the movies during this era with the "man/boy friendship" deals. I find it odd and frankly a little creepy. Well, this movie is sort of creepy, I am glad the bots n them got a hold of it.

As someone who grew up in the '90s and who still loves the Batman animated series from that era, I have to say it feels weird hearing Ra's al Ghul's voice coming out of David Warner (and yes, I know Mr. Warner is the one who did the voice). He was so awesome on that show, it's really kind of a downer to see him something like this. Excellent riffing, though.

Yet another movie they have done that could have been so much better with a decent budget and director. Also, big fan of David Warner. Another fine actor who made the best of any role he was in, whether it was goofy or serious. Masterful theater actor and grand voice fit for narration and voice over work. His portrayal of Ras'a Ghul in the Batman Animated Series was simply divine. He was also the voice of Jon Irenicus in one of the best CRPGs ever made, Baldur's Gate 2. Yeah. Love me some David Warner. Mad respect.

I noticed Thena changed out of her swanky new princess garb and back into her old serving wench outfit for the last scene when she showed up saved the guys bacon. Was she showing solidarity for the Order or did they just shoot all the horse riding exteriors that day and did not bother with costume continuity? I guess the answer to that was also sealed forever in the “Lost Storehouse.” Geez.
