First of all, I promise I'm not a tubi tv salesman. But for some reason, I Counted their MST3K eps and they have 99 and they are in good shape. It also has all the CT eps (even though I already had the complete set). It also has the Film Crew eps and a over a dozen Rifftrax shows. So, I"ll go back to my Tubi office now, er, I mean back to my cup of coffee.

Those of you with Amazon Prime, check out The Naked Monster. It's like the Airplane! of ultra-cheap monster movies, with lots of faces from the Golden Age of Cheese.

David Winters, director and producer of timeless MST3K favorite Space Mutiny, has died at the age of 80. Seems he was also quite well-known as a choreographer and even had an acting career on both stage and screen.

MSTies? Pour one out for one of the legends of films good AND bad.

I am watching The Indestructible Man and just realized the Undersea Kingdom short has a young Lon Chaney Jr. in it [5 years before The Wolf Man]. So that got me to wondering..is Experiment 409 the only MST3K Episode with an actor/actress(a main star, at that) appearing in both the Short and the Main Feature?

The lifeless, disinterested, and deadpan delivery really helps on this one.

Kevin: “When in Mesa Verde National Park, be sure to visit the Curse of Bigfoot Pavilion.”
Mike: “Bigfoot cursing every afternoon at three.”

I'm using my Friday night to watch a movie I haven't watched in a while. Someone mentioned that Charles Borromel of Cave Dwellers fame had a bit part in the movie and he does, but I was startled to find an appearance by Giancarlo Prete, otherwise know as Strike in Escape 2000, Scorpion in Warriors of the Wasteland, and Bob Martin in The Last Shark.

Who knew that one of my favorite movies had riffing victims? :D

I just watched experiment 701 - Night of the Blood Beast again, for the first time in a while. I'd forgotten how much I enjoyed it! Is there an experiment you've seen recently that you'd forgotten how great it was?

I haven't seen Wild Rebels, Hellcats, Batwoman, Kitten, Fu Manchu or Hamlet. Any opinions on ranking these last 6 of ones I haven't seen yet (admittedly, I still have only watched 2 eps of Season1-gonna make a weekend of that one day- nor Diabolik for other weirder reasons).

On this most solemn of days, I ask you to reflect on the days when the greatest of all Fools, Sir Giggles von Laughs-A-Lot, brought the country together, albeit, for an all too short time.
And a country that laughs together, laughs all at the same time.
So follow Sir Giggles' example: laugh, and laugh-a-lot.
When it comes right down to it, our sense of humor's the only refuge we have on this planet.

What movies would you like to see the show tackle in a future episode?

I'd LOVE for Jonah and the bots to riff Yor, the Hunter From the Future. It has Reb Brown from Space Mutiny, that alone would make for a great episode.

You have the power to transport everybody in MST3K universe back to 90's. What Joel era show would you like to see the Mike/Bill/Kevin riff? Conversely, which Syfy ep would you like the Joel/Trace/Kevin(or J Elvis) riff?

Have you ever watched an episode (or other riffed movie) because you want to hear a single riff that you just love to hear? I have the RT: Brazilian Bigfoot (one of the Richard Terry eps) playing right now and I wanted to watch it because of a riff that I love hearing.
Bill: "Turned out it was one of the Property Brothers gone rogue."
Mike (crying): "STOP REMODELING MY HOUSE!"

But I have it with others, too. When I watch Laserblast, I watch it for my favorite riff in the episode: "Ecuadorian Bat Boy Found Alive in Cave".

Fugitive Alien 2, there are two things I watch it for: the medley (of course) and the following riff: "Hey, corn. HEY, CORN!" (Why is that it? It's all in the delivery.)

Blood Waters of Dr. Z, it's a host segment: "My friend, the squeegee, I love you."

Am I the only one who thinks this way?

Also, I was trying to watch a (mediocre) documentary yesterday about modern-day Flat Earthers, and now it's too late for me to wind up the whole board on 4/1 by pretending I've joined up with them.

Aaanyway, in my perusal of comedy from my pre-MST3K years, I found this very stellar and upbeat version of Hamlet, which even the most entrenched haters of a certain show's later episodes might enjoy. I mean, at least it's short and in color.
