Those cops may have been a little trigger happy. “An unarmed deformed man in a sport-coat and a fedora who isn’t hurting anyone! Open Fire! An unarmed deformed man who’s standing precariously on a rock fifty feet from anyone to whom he can possibly be a threat! Open Fire! An unarmed deformed man who’s fleeing in terror and has his back turned to us! Open Fire!”

Being from Illinois, what really cracks me up is when Mike says "Guys, this is so NOT Illinois" and "That's one of my favorite mountains in Illinois." Comedy gold!

Amazingly obscure Church of the Sub Genius reference in the short. I'm impressed. Impressed enough to give Slack.

One of the small handful of eps I never bothered to finish--along with Hamlet, Final Justice, and Track of the Moon Beast (yeah--Season 10 isn't my favorite)

Gonna give it another shot tonight--let's see what happens :)

So with the death of the stripper at the cabin while the other women were out looking for Gary, was the horror movie trope that says the sluttiest character is ALWAYS doomed born?

This movie makes a LOT more sense after reading the Wikipedia page:
"The film was originally meant to be about evil aliens, but the producers demanded script alterations in order to cash in on the success of E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial by featuring a child and cute, lovable alien."
Assuredly, the title sequence features the original pre-Trumpy alien monster.

I'm always impressed when they avoid the easy, obvious jokes: You've got a character named "Atari" here...This episode COULD have been wall to wall video game jokes, but they limited themselves to one or two quips about Pong. A lesser show would have grabbed for the low hanging fruit, so to speak.

WITCH: Forge a Sampo! Or you'll never see the face of your pretty sister again!
CROW: Can we see the other parts?

It's not a good sign when the action in your movie is upstaged by a mural.
