The Rifftrax episode R.O.T.O.R is now available on Amazon Prime.
For anyone who grew up in the 1980s, it is truly something special.

Mine: The Hot-Dog Monster from "Party Beach" (goofy, top-heavy design with wonderfully cheesy vocalizations) tied with The Creature (from zee Black Lagoon, for classic design and terrific, brassy fanfares upon entering the scene.)

[Was originally thinking of the rubber-suited variety, but, hey -- any MSTie monster favorites will do, latex-based, thin-skinned, and overt -- or more covert, psychological, thick-skinned, sociopathic, or what-have-you.]

Welp, we had to sign a confidentiality agreement, so I cannot tell you anything about the show. So instead let me just tell you about the funniest riffing I've seen this week, which is Rifftrax's Zindy the Swamp Boy. Has anyone seen this one? It stands with any of the best of MST. And it's available on Amazon Prime.

Terminator Genisys...

... and here's why. Spoiler: (Though you can't ruin a turd) This is maybe the only movie I've ever seen that actively pisses my off. It's bad in every way and then some. Lots of movies have bad effects, bad acting, bad writing, bad casting, a bad overall plot, and shits on beloved source material. Dragon Ball Evolution is a great example, it has all of those qualities. But here's where TG goes the extra mile. While DBE only shit on source material and ignored it, Terminator Genisys ACTIVELY TRIES TO DESTROY IT. Who in the name of F^^K thought it was a good idea to erase two of the best action movies ever made from the canon in favor of a movie so lazy it didn't even bother to justify it's own blatantly broken time-travel logic!? Sure, the first two's time travel didn't make perfect sense but if you didn't think about it it's easy to let slide, and even if you do think about it it's justified by being part of overall excellent films. TG has a scene where someone actually acknowledges the time travel doesn't make sense and then they justify it by essentially saying "Who cares?" I CARE! Every time I even so much as think about this film I want to punch the writer in the face as hard as I possibly can.

Probably best known as Della Street of the Perry Mason franchise and who appeared in The Giant Spider Invasion.
Sadly, it seems like there's no end to the current celebrity death cycle....

Not sure why they disappeared about a month ago, but they are back (on UK Amazon at least). Mostly the same titles, but I noticed that the live 'Night of the living Dead' has been added.

I know there were a ton of Dr. Strangelove riff through the years. As I'm sure most of you know I've been compiling a list of all the references to films that are on the Criterion Collection, and I'm trying to find more from Strangelove. So far I have the following:
205 - Rocket Attack USA - Crow "One 45 caliber hand gun, two packages of chewing gum, one issue prophylactic, one hundred dol...."

305 - Stranded in Space - Tom "I smell a rat. A big commie rat."

401 - Space Travelers - Crow - "Feed me Jack, feed me!" & Joel "I smell a rat! A big commie rat!"

515 - The Wild World of Batwoman - From the Cheating short - Tom "I smell a big commie rat!"

523 - Village of the Giants - Crow to a dog standing on it's back paws "Mein Fuhrer! I can walk! Arf!"

524 - 12 To The Moon - Mike "The moon does not deny me it's essence."

616 - Racket Girls - Mike "I'll just mosey on down to the War Room and see what's happening."

1011 - Horrors of Spider Island - Tom "Dr. Strangelove!"

I know there was at least one reference to "Col. Bat Guano, if that really is your name..." but I cannot for the life of me remember what it was from. Anyone out there know? Any more that you can come up with that I've missed?

Shocking, isn't it, what three months of tragedy can do to a woman.
There's the gallons of Vodka too. That enters into it.
