A common mistake with making a Bond clone type film is giving the protagonist too many skill sets. Bond had too many and he wasn’t a lip reading, electrical engineer, karateka, hypnotist, plastic surgeon.

Know I haven't been active in the forum in a while but I wanted to say good-bye to you guys and to Club MST3k. I'm unplugging from the internet and focusing more on existing in the physical world. Just wanted to say how much I appreciate all of you and having had time among you. Thanks for the club and all the work you do Mr Head Honcho :) I'm off to buy dvd's and vhs copies of the show to watch. Signing off from Knoxville, much love to you all.

In light of many great episodes reaching the 100 laugh mark I decided to look at the other end of the spectrum, the sub-50 club.

I've picked a few episodes with fewer than 50 laughs that I think are pretty good but don't seem to be getting the love they deserve. Who do you think deserves to be rescued from the Island Of Misfit Episodes?

Ep # Title
105 - The Corpse Vanishes
110 - Robot Holocaust
406 - Attack of the Giant Leeches
607 - Bloodlust
809 - I Was A Teenage Werewolf

So, what other shows do you like? My favorites include:
Monty Python's Flying Circus
Tim and Eric
Space Ghost Coast to Coast
Sealab 2021
Ren & Stimpy
Looney Tunes - not a show, but grew up watching on TV.
The Adventures of Pete & Pete
STELLA - wrongly short-lived Comedy Central series that was actually funny for a change.
Animaniacs
Pinky & The Brain
Freakazoid!
Dexter's Laboratory
Johnny Bravo
X-Men: The Animated Series
Many of the action-adventure-scifi Hanna Barbera cartoons, like Jonny Quest, Space Ghost, Thundarr the Barbarian and especially Swat Kats

Yes, I am still a small child stuck in the 90s...

Warning: non-MST3k post!
A week ago I had my pet guinea pig put down (she was middle-aged at 3 and a half years) due to various complications. I had her cremated and I got her ashes back today (which cost more than you'd think).
The thing is, she has a little brass plate with her name on it on the box her ashes are in. The plate reads: "In Memoriam: BELLA." Her name was not Bella, however, at least not in the English sense. I named her the Spanish word for "beautiful"--spelled bella, pronounced beya. Two years ago I dropped her the spelling of her name from Bella to Beya (to remove any connection to the Twilight character) but never told the vet that, nor did I ever correct their mispronunciation of her name.
Now, as her ashes currently rest in my room where her cage once was, I feel kinda bad I never corrected the vet staff that they were mispronouncing and misspelling my sweet little angel's name. (Yes, I called her an angel; she's been with me through some rough times.) So I feel guilty now, seeing "BELLA" instead of "Beya" engraved on the box. On a scale from 1 to 10, how justified do you think my guilt is? (And thanks for taking the time to read this.)
