When I was like 10 I was given a cheapo "build your own circuit" electronics kit. The only thing I ever did with it was make the EXACT SAME siren sound from this movie, using a... potentiator? Voltimiter? Some doodad or other plus a 9v battery.

While I agree with the main doctors ideas and experiments in theory, I just can't approve of his sloppy methods.
Why are revolutionary scientists always depicted as insane?
Also, why are people who are miraculously saved by unconventional means always begging for death? Seems rather ungrateful to me.
