Wow! I just finished watching that episode. It was hilarious! Especially when he made that joke. I'm going to watch the next one in order. I hope it will be as funny!

So it's 1971 and, on a road trip from Austin to San Francisco, Jody stops in a small town where people burned witches in the 1870s? How does that work? Did these yokels learn about witch burning in Europe CENTURIES ago in their little red schoolhouse and decide "That's a darn good idea"?

Is it wrong that I find these 70's TV movie/pilots tremendously comforting? This episode, San Francisco International, Code Name Diamond Head - they take me back to our first color TV, junior high school...the terrible writing and acting is part of that whole nostalgia I guess. It was a simpler time (for me at least)!

I'm a Lions Club member, and two of our ten members are Steves. So, tonight at a meeting both Steves were sitting next to each other, and were introduced, and then one of our guests was erroneously introduced as Steve, and to my utmost delight, someone shouted "Not everyone is Steve!" lol.
Say, who are some of your favorite Steves?

Happy Birthday, Jim Henson!

A VERY happy birthday to one of my all-time heroes, Jim Henson! I've said plenty of times, my two people I look up to are Joel Hodgson and Jim Henson. Today is a great day! If Him were still alive, he'd be eighty-one years old. The man has been influential in most modern film-making. This includes animatronics puppetry, felt puppetry, and other types of puppetry. He has created and performed a lot of characters that are regular household names such as Ernie, Swedish Chef, and of course, Kermit the Frog. Just the fact that this man got so far in his life with not your typical "I know someone" status that most celebrities do (That's a reason that I also look up to Hodgson) just amazes me. He has such a creative mind, and as an aspiring puppeteer, he has influenced modern puppetry techniques, created the ideal puppetry situation with puppetry in film and television, and has taught me that puppetry can be for anyone if you have the correct characteristic attributes! Thank you Jim for all that you've done in your lifetime for the puppetry community, and happy birthday!

I've been put to sleep by this at least 5 times. Devil doll has to be the most boring of all the experiments.

The song "California Lady" would be quite catchy if the girl wasn't singing such an awkward harmony it hurts the ears! lol.
