You know, of all the stink piles I've seen these guys riff, with their B-Movie pseudo-science and mis-placed terror about atomic energy and all, the scientific explanation in this one is probably the most painful. I might need a lie down after that "single-celled heart" schpiel... WOW

I didn't even notice at first, but right as I sat down to watch this EP, I saw I had my leg up on my desk.

It's subliminal

On the subject of Bert I. Gordon, once a year my sister and I will sit down and watch cheesy shows/movies and do our own amateur, good-natured riffing of it. This year, after a sitting in with some Classic Who, we got curious and tried our hand at "Attack of the Puppet People".

...Honestly, we couldn't finish it. The creepy old guy was just too sick for my liking. I can take the cheesy pseudo-science, I can take the bad special effects, hell, as an arachnophobe, I can even take the close-ups in "Earth V.S. the Spider". But this was just.... Ick... We were too creeped out to properly do decent riffs. It make me feel like I needed a shower.

We cleansed ourselves with an episode of some Original Star Trek, and then proceeded on to "Rodan", which was a blast. (literally)

But man, with Mr. B.I.G's... -ahem- fascination with, well, big stuff, part of me REALLY HAS TO WONDER about his motives behind it... if you catch my meaning.

So while cruising IMDB, I saw this: Secrets of a Psychopath (filming) 2014 by Bert I. Gordon. Movie night, anyone?

So, what other shows do you like? My favorites include:
Monty Python's Flying Circus
Tim and Eric
Space Ghost Coast to Coast
Sealab 2021
Ren & Stimpy
Looney Tunes - not a show, but grew up watching on TV.
The Adventures of Pete & Pete
STELLA - wrongly short-lived Comedy Central series that was actually funny for a change.
Animaniacs
Pinky & The Brain
Freakazoid!
Dexter's Laboratory
Johnny Bravo
X-Men: The Animated Series
Many of the action-adventure-scifi Hanna Barbera cartoons, like Jonny Quest, Space Ghost, Thundarr the Barbarian and especially Swat Kats

Yes, I am still a small child stuck in the 90s...

Stephen here.
I'm sure you've noticed that there are GENRES of riffs. So what riff genres do YOU like?

For example, one of my favorites: the Correct the Script Riff (movie says "Telekeenis" and Joel says "Um, or 'Telekenesis'")

My least favorite is the Lyric Completion Riff (movie says "Tomorrow" and Tom sings "TOMORROW, THERE'S ALWAYS TOMORROW")

How about you?

We all know and love Springy the No-Springs Sprite, or Mikey the No-Mike Sprite.. but I want to try something out, I hope it doesn't break anything... Here goes:
"I wish I'd never see another sprite again in my life!"
