JC was also in the worst Next Generation episode ever. Don't get me wrong. I love Next Gen, but sheesh!

Hey... I'm sorry that this isn't a discussion topic really, but I just saw Pacific Rim in 3-D/IMAX and was totally blown away! The story, characters and stellar effects made for the ultimate summer movie! I'm just so jazzed about it, I wanted to tell people. :)

Not much of a forum person, but I just had to say this. Without a doubt, Kevin Murphy is my favorite among the MST3K staff. His performance as Tom Servo will forever be platinum in my book. Every episode he's done he always seems to have the best riff going and I figured it out. Simply put, he was the master of the fast non-sensical quip and, to me, those are the best riffs ever. For instance, in Ep. 812: The Incredibly Strange Creatures, during the first number with the woman up on stage singing about "the other guy" and she sings the line "It hurts..." when Tom immediately pipes up "To staple your eyebrows." Comedy gold, in my opinion. There's plenty of other examples throughout all the episodes as well. The only exception is Ep. 402: The Giant Gila Monster where Trace (as Crow) delivers that beautiful Frankenstein moan when the sheriff opens the side door in the garage early on. Not to belittle the rest of the crew though. They're all legends in my book. Just that Kevin Murphy is the tops for me. :)

The baboon sequence is actually re-used footage from a nature documentary film about Africa called "Animals Are Beautiful People", which I watched almost religiously as a kid. Can't believe they showed up again! hah. The guy who made that movie would go on to direct "The Gods Must Be Crazy."

I heard one user mentioned 'sleep-eps' in regards to certain episodes.

I listen to MST3K when I got to sleep every night. Do most people do this as well or is it a select few? If so, do you have 'sleep-eps' specifically set up for bed time or do you just go with the flow?

I've noticed that I have Mike and Joel playlists and I never mix them.

A big THANK YOU to whoever reposted The Black Scorpion and Hercules Against the Moon Men. The former is one of my faves and the latter is one of my sleep eps. I missed them while they were gone. So I'm a happy gal!

This is one of my favorite episodes. It looks like they got the whole town involved and they all tried really hard so there's an underlying enthusiasm infusing all that badness. So funny!
