The enlarged locust would require a lower temperature of 14 degrees to kill them due to their greater mass so it wouldn't work nuh uh.

Alright MST3K does not receive the credit it deserves. It was ground breaking, amazing, still fucking hilarious! It should be in the top ten best shows of all time. Except no one knows about it, so sad. No one understands it's genius, no one takes the time. You have to pay attention, listen, watch. It's not some damn skit show with 1 minute blips of crap. It requires dedication and Intelligence to appreciate it's true magnificence! Therefore I command you all to spread the word! MST3K FOREVER!!!

How does anyone else feel about Tha rift, The Great Collapse, The Civil War, The Epic Breaking of Camps between Joel and his gang, and the Rest? The history I've seen seems really anecdotal and interpretive, which makes me respect everyone involved because it means they didn't badmouth each other publicly. My feeling is that Comedy Central began threatening to cancel the show and started making demands, which Mallon and his camp were willing to bend to, but Joel and his weren't. Joel leaving and Mike taking over was conciliatory, but comedy central eventually cancelled anyway. The remaining camp continued to be conciliatory with the SciFi channel in order to be picked up, who wanted the persistent host-segment story of Pearl chasing them around the universe et cetera, which I know they hated because the host segments were just an excuse to riff on movies (They said it in some interview). I also feel that Joel and/or his camp are regretful that they quit on what has become their legacy and high point, especially considering that Rifftrax seems to be doing a lot better than Cinematic Titanic. Like they jumped ship too soon, being too idealistic when they still had options to do what they did and liked best, riffing bad movies, even if it meant succumbing to these corporate bastards, because seasons 6 and on are as good as the rest. And even considering that their current fans seem to be mostly made up of old school MST3K fans and genuine nerds, which they can't not feel self-conscious about.

I really like everyone involved in the show, in probably an unhealthily familiar way, but basically I can't help but feel like the Cinematic Titanic crew screwed the pooch. Kind of like Weinstein leaving waaay too early for some kind of idealistic notion (although I feel like he left cause they wanted Murphy to voice Tom Servo and he got defensive, etc). You probably can't beat 10 seasons anyway, with or without the whole crew.

So am I wrong, paranoid, cynical, what?
