Hiya, guys! So, my question to you is: out of all of MST, what is your favorite puppetry moment in any of the episodes? It could be complex, or it could be super simple! My favorite moments involve Gypsy and Growler, because of the type of puppets they are and the intricacy in operating them. In fact, the original Gypsy was on a marching bass drum harness. That to me is super cool! Also, I've got a shameless plug to put at the end, here. I'm directing a puppetry tour in Berks County, Pennsylvania. If you know any puppeteers in that area, at all, I'd love to have them! We ended up having to go back into our script and re-write it from 6 people to four people. And the other two puppeteers we have aren't necessarily the most reliable. So, yeah. Just a plug. If you're interested, let me know!

So, I'm going off to college in a few weeks (I leave for band camp on August 18th), and I'm hoping to introduce some people at college to MST3K. Ya know, doin' the duty of a MSTie and stuff. It's all in a day's work! But, I always have trouble choosing a first episode. What do you guys think is the best beginner episode, or some of the most relatable, funniest episodes that can relate to many people? I always like to show Manos, Santa Claus Conquers the Martians, or Hobgoblins. Are those bad choices?

What people would you like to see make cameos in future MST3K? I'd personally enjoy a Weird Al Yankovic cameo. Heck, an episode where he'd host would even suit me.

I was staring at my silly Funko collection earlier today. My Crow & Servo Pops are sandwiched between Darth Vader and Drax the Destroyer. Got me to thinking: If you could, who would you swap out Joel/Mike/Jonah with as an alternate host (Real or Fictional).
I admit, Dave Bautista's Drax would probably be terrible at riffing, but James Earl Jones incredible voice might make for an interesting changeup in the theater.

A lot of people wonder what the WORST film they ever did on MST3K was. IMO, there are five films which are so bad, they've fallen completely off the scale of composition, thoughtfulness, or simple good taste. These films are so bad, they each represent a singular atrocity, and to prioritize any one over the other is to neglect them all. They are, in no particular order:
The Beast of Yucca Flats
Manos: The Hands of Fate
Monster-A-Go-Go
Rocket Attack U.S.A.
The Castle of Fu Manchu
These films are so bad, so incomprehensibly, unfathomably vile, that each one must be seen to be believed. I think you would be right to say that any of these five movies are equally the worst films ever featured on MST3K

Not related, it's just something I made for my second year in German. I just had a whole lot of fun making it, so I thought I'd put it up here for any Deutsch Lernerin to critique. So, I did this puppet show of a cooking show, to demonstrate I know how to do commands. It was a blast to make and I learned what it'd be like to be Trace and Frank underneath a table, just looking at a monitor... it's hard to hold the puppet directly straight up, so television puppeteers are impressive. And it's even more impressive for people like Trace and Frank, who weren't puppeteers before MST, to do that monitor work so well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e11lWShKAJc&t=1s
