'Shine your Love' is the worst song in any MST3K movie.

Ahhh yes, another embarrassingly bad 1970's TV movie. In the 70's we received about 5 channels so we watched crap like this out of lack of choice. I caught it all from '70 to '80. In the 80's at least we had VCR's and cable.

I read somewhere, can't remember where, that real astronauts wives were so upset by this movie it forced NASA to make some actual changes. The goodbye scene I imagine would be tough to take. The riffing in that scene some of the best ever though.

There's this Basketball player Called Kawhi Leonard. Quiet, seems like nice kid, is well known for having big hands even by basketball player standards.

So someone made this, and I take my hat off to them:

Figured I'd plug my show again, since it's a holiday and whatnot. If you're still up and about at 10pm (central) I'll be spinning tunes on WDBX.org. It being Thanksgiving and all, you can bet that the most epic folk song of all time "Alice's Restaurant" will be heard!

...he must be getting paid. If Joel is getting paid, why isn't he paying Bill and other cast members?

A below thread got me to thinking: it would have been an entirely different musical if it were "Phantom of Krankor of the Opera":

"HRRRGH, HRRRGH, HRRRGH! I am holding you captive so that you might look upon my superior music scores and tell the world that they have no choice but to surrender the opera to me!"

On second thought, maybe it wouldn't be all that different.

So are there any audiophiles around? What systems have you got?
I'm on a budget, but have been able to assemble a really nice-sounding vintage system. Technics SL-1900 turntable with a Denon DL-110 or Audio Technica AT440Mla (depending on the mood) hooked up to a Marantz 2216 and played through either the big, 3-feet Wharfedale Mach 7's (late 70's) or Kef Coda 3's (for late-night listening).
