Hello Hailey, saw your post on Facebook..come back and re-join the Club(or as Cea Cea would say "Join Us, won't you"..Hey I'm back so it must be a good thing!
I desperately want to see into that other reality where Robot Mike is the captain or whatever of the S.O.L. I totally imagine Crow and Servo as "those two guys who hang out avoiding doing actual work and providing comic relief".
During the segments where Pearl and Mike are talking out in space, I was wondering why the camera keeps moving around, and then I realized that it's Cambot floating around and correcting his position. I love those little touches they throw in!
The TV in the "Where, oh, Werewolf?" segment says "stony" instead of "sony", probably for director of photography Jeff Stonehouse. Aw, that's adorable c:
Ok, in the third host segment (the one with the explorers), Joel makes a little hand gesture to Crow at one point (about 1:17:00) . Does anybody have any idea what it's supposed to mean? Tiny little detail, but I'm curious.
There's something I hate so much about these 90s family movies. Something about the cutesy, "heartwarming hijinks"-type music and the stereotypical, overacted characters and storylines just makes me want to throw up. I usually try to avoid being this harsh, but it just drives me crazy. I don't like those things in any movie, but in these incredibly poorly executed ones (like this one and Quest of the Delta Knights) they bring me dangerously close to punching somebody.
(Sorry for ranting. I'm done now.)

You know, considering how good Mike usually is at doing impressions, I have to say, his impression of Crow is...not really very good.

The spit take segment is funny, but I can't help but wonder who has to wipe off the set afterwards.

Just seeing the face of any of the characters in this movie makes me laugh uncontrollably. Especially Troy's dorky teeth.

So he figured out that the statue was from the year 5200 A.D. by just doing math? Didn't have to run any tests on the material, or...?

I can't get that stupid music out of my head! And, uh, is the "Hawaiian Punch" in the closing segment a can of pie filling?

That Mystos host segment led me to look up Mentos commercials from the 90s, and I do not regret that decision. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yfp2Bg6iUdY

We're not really supposed to like any of these protagonists, are we? Because they're doing a pretty good job of being utterly detestable.
