Awesome name :)
We're not really supposed to like any of these protagonists, are we? Because they're doing a pretty good job of being utterly detestable.
That Mystos host segment led me to look up Mentos commercials from the 90s, and I do not regret that decision. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yfp2Bg6iUdY
I think Mike calls Crow "Bill" at ~16:44...
The moral of the short seems to be that if you wander off at a crowded fair, you'll get to do all sorts of cool stuff and meet every celebrity. Who is this kid, Forrest Gump?
Is the kid's name supposed to be Eichi?
So he figured out that the statue was from the year 5200 A.D. by just doing math? Didn't have to run any tests on the material, or...?
Any speculations on exactly what "Method #53" is?
Wow, Joel has very striking eyes, when they're open all the way.
The "sinking earth" is...water? They don't know what water is!? They've never seen it before!? It's never rained and made a puddle?! The fact that somebody wrote that and put it in this movie makes me genuinely kind of angry.
You may now return to your feature already in progress.
What is up with the girl in the short? As soon as the guy is "tall and good-looking" and drives a convertible, it means he couldn't possibly be top of his class, or a woman-hater (whatever that's supposed to mean in this context), or have no time for girls? Those are not mutually exclusive, at all.
Mike singing "I'll Be Home for Christmas" to himself in the last host segment breaks my heart a little.
Aw, Crow's reaction to his present breaks my heart a little bit. He's trying so hard to be mature, for once. Also, Joel says that Crow's birthday is coming up. When is his birthday? How did Joel decide when the 'bots' birthdays are? Is it the day he made them? Did he just arbitrarily assign dates? I need to know these things! Aaaa! *deep breath* Just a show... *deep breath* Just relax... *deep breath*
"He's nude!" "I'm what?!"
