I know there were a ton of Dr. Strangelove riff through the years. As I'm sure most of you know I've been compiling a list of all the references to films that are on the Criterion Collection, and I'm trying to find more from Strangelove. So far I have the following:
205 - Rocket Attack USA - Crow "One 45 caliber hand gun, two packages of chewing gum, one issue prophylactic, one hundred dol...."

305 - Stranded in Space - Tom "I smell a rat. A big commie rat."

401 - Space Travelers - Crow - "Feed me Jack, feed me!" & Joel "I smell a rat! A big commie rat!"

515 - The Wild World of Batwoman - From the Cheating short - Tom "I smell a big commie rat!"

523 - Village of the Giants - Crow to a dog standing on it's back paws "Mein Fuhrer! I can walk! Arf!"

524 - 12 To The Moon - Mike "The moon does not deny me it's essence."

616 - Racket Girls - Mike "I'll just mosey on down to the War Room and see what's happening."

1011 - Horrors of Spider Island - Tom "Dr. Strangelove!"

I know there was at least one reference to "Col. Bat Guano, if that really is your name..." but I cannot for the life of me remember what it was from. Anyone out there know? Any more that you can come up with that I've missed?

I wonder... Can anyone name all the episodes that Bronson Cave appears in? It has definitely been in more episodes than any actor.

What episodes that are widely considered fan favorites do you not particularly like? For the sake of defining "popular" on these forums, let's say any episode with 150 or more laughs. "Cave Dwellers", "Monster-Go-Go", and "Final Sacrifice" are the three I just don't care for-mostly because they're either very slow moving or have weak plots with almost no climatic scenes. The riffs just can't keep my interest in these movies.

When Watney asks the girl in the bar what her sign is, around 10:00, does anybody have a clue as to what her response is? I have no idea...

Is your favorite host (if you have one!) the one you saw first?

I think the Trollzilla invasion has settled down enough that it's safe to start this thread. So! Question. If you have a Joel\Mike preference, is the host you saw first the host you ended up preferring after you'd seen episodes from both? Or did you see one of them first but end up preferring the other? (And for the purpose of this thread, let's go ahead and assume that declaring a preference for one of the hosts doesn't mean you think the other guy sucks! Moratorium on feeling guilty for liking one more than the other, if in fact you do like one more than the other.) And for that matter, let's do the bots too, because why the heck not.

I'll start.
Saw first: Joel
Prefer: Strong preference for Joel in the host segs. Love them both equally in the theater.

Saw first: Trace's Crow
Prefer: Trace's Crow by just a wee smidge, though I think Bill's got better chemistry with Mike, so I actually prefer Bill's Crow in the Mike episodes.

Saw first: Kevin's Servo
Prefer: Kevin's Servo, though Josh's grew on me.

Favorite lineup: Joel, Trace, Kevin, which was the lineup when I first got hooked.

Next?
