I wish this movie could be remade with better talent behind the camera (and in front since the one good actor in this is gone) because really if the world was fleshed out more it would be a great movie, if they explained jack shit about the feuding corporations and how and why Jamila was giving secrets away to the competing corporation. There is so much wasted potential here, but I guess if the potential had been realized we'd have lost out on a great mst3k episode.

Something my fiancee has said multiple times:

"I don't see why women were so pushy about getting all the responsibilities of men. It's like, today we're expected to cook, clean, have kids, AND work a full-time job? I'd be just fine with doing whatever I want all day after my chores are done while my husband makes all the money. A few uppity women ruined it for the rest of us."

LOL Now, I don't completely agree, but there's some truth to that. XD

i think it would be awesome to have a reboot/updated version of mst3k on tv so that the younger generation can get their dose of DEEEEP HURRRTING, besides there's a plethora of new "films" that are just begging for the mst3k treatment

So I watch this back-to-back with The Horror of Party Beach; is it any wonder that when I hear "how are we going to burn a monster hiding at the bottom of the sea", my immediate reaction is "Sodium!"?

Believe it or not, William Conrad was first known for his gravelly baritone reading-voice--not his stupendous waist-line: he was Matt Dillon on the original radio program 'Gunsmoke'. When the franchise moved to TV, Conrad was done; Matt Dillon was to be tall and lean on TV (as he was in the 'mind's eye' descriptions on radio) *and* have an instantly-familiar resonant baritone acting-voice. I heard they asked Buddy Ebsen and Peter Graves (both 6'5"); Ebsen didn't have a 'Matt Dillon' voice, and Graves was busy making giant-bug movies(!). Graves suggested they ask his brother *James Arness* (T. Servo: "Hulking, expressionless pseudo-cowboy James Arness...tonight, on 'Biography'..."). William Conrad took a hiatus after the radio show, and finished getting into shape to return to drama in such Quinn Martin productions as 'Cannon' and 'Jake and the Fat Man'. Old friend Buddy Ebsen eventually got to be a QM private eye, himself, as a Retirement Gig.
