After watching this one, I've decided that the only real weakness to this movie was the total lack of budget. There's a plot that pretty much hangs together. It's easy to follow. I don't find any of the characters to be disgusting (the non-villains anyway).

With an actual budget, they could have had special effects, music that wasn't meant for plate-spinning, a little tighter presentation.

THAT is a hero no one can feel good about identifying with. It's like rooting for your worthless brother in law

The adapted Christmas star that the king of Gor fancies is a pretty good indicator that this guy ain't going to set the world afire. And as for his choice of a queen, who DIDNT make the cut? And if Cabot qualifies as a messiah in the land of Gor, what kind of future can the Gorians expect to have? I should, relax.

What makes this a really great piece of crap is that you actually enjoy the mesmerizing experience of watching it unfold. Pure crap is incapable of arousing any feeling other than a dark desire to see those responsible punished.

If only current movies could get the mst treatment. Saving Christmas, a gaily decorated turd laid by Kirk Cameron, is just begging for the treatment. The poor boy has conflated sit-com popularity with the thrill of being chosen by The Lord to do battle against the straw man of empty materialism vs godly materialism. What is especially fascinating about the movie is how his monomania ensures that it is his vision alone that appears on the screen. It is also obvious in the shabby construction of the movie that if your background is just mugging on a sit-com, it doesn't bestow understanding of, or dedication to, making a movie that doesn't just annoy the living, etc.. Yet this treasure trove of dysfunctional narcissism goes unmolested among us. Let's hope future generations get the opportunity.

I was watching my usual true crime shows, cuz I just love true crime, and there was a show on not too long ago, I think it was "Stranger in My Home". They had a movie director who was killed by his live-in contractor; pretty gruesome stuff, killed him, then dropped his body in the indoor hot tub and cemented it over, that kinda thing. The director? Al Adamson. Sound familiar? Among other b-grade flicks, he did one of my favorite Cinematic Titanics, "East Meets Watts". From the show, he seemed like such a nice guy…so I kinda feel bad for the entire situation. You never know sometimes! If you're curious about the details, the wiki entry on him has a bit, but if you catch his episode on ID, check it out. Crazy case.

I hate winter right now, I'm getting some serious cabin fever being in the house all day everyday. Only having one car doesnt help, at least in the summer i can enjoy my huge backyard :)

Odd that the Father of the Universe, at the time Stonehedge was doing a brisk business, had to build and then outfit a flying orb to get to and from appearances. And seriously, what sense would the word Pumaman make to a Druid? "Did he just say a poopy man is going to lead us? Blasphemy!"
