Y'know, despite the riff or two they make about it, I never quite picked up on something until recently... They live on a walnut ranch... and as such you can justify not seeing any animals on the place. But then why do they have so much hay around the place? I mean I guess they might farm hey on the side, but they never mention it. Anyone else think they just needed them to do something farm-y and moving hay was all they could think of?

Out of all the things to complain about from this movie, one thing that has always bugged me a lot is Kalgan's "space bitch" insults. These people have supposedly spent their entire lives, for countless generations, aboard this space ship. Why add "space" to an insult? Speaking of this generation ship, where did Ryder and the Professor even come from on their shuttle? Can people just come and go as they please? Are they not actually that far from Earth? Why don't the mutineers just leave?

The Teacher Angel is possibly the WORST actor in any MST3K film.

Servo: "You know that may not really be Chinese."
It's actually Japanese. That's just the Mickey Rooney dialect.

This episode has such an early 8th season vibe for me. I like it very much!

Before Servo said it, I thought the same thing. All of Diabolics' plans involve hopefully not getting shot by a hail of bullets, and dumb luck.

Did Donald Pleasance think that the names of every big cat were pronounced with the same inflection as a pretentious British guy talking about his Jag-yu-war? Would he be talking about Lye-yons and Tyi-gars and Bears?

one of my favorites if not top favorites skits between movie time as the scenes with mike and pearl seem so down to earth real and humanistic . . . whatever that means

When Crow visits Crow in the lunch room, and says "I think I know a little more about your future than you do" he's quoting a line from Heinlein's classic time-travel-paradox short story, "By His Bootstraps" uttered by the character from the future visiting himself in the past.
