This week wasn't so hot. I had some crazy bird guy knock on my door and tell me to stop "tampering in God's domain," When I was only tinkering. Then just the other day, Ken tried to kill me with a forklift! I didn't think Ken could do such a thing. Or maybe it could have been the other Ken? Maybe it was THAT Ken. That Ken is a jerk so I wouldn't put it past him.

This movie (and episode) in a roundabout way introduced me to MST3K. It all started when I was a little twitching eye and was watching Freakazoid one Saturday morning. The episode aired was known as "The Cloud" and was a parody of this very movie! I liked the episode so much I stumbled into The Crawling Eye and MST3K. I have been a die hard fan of both shows ever since.

Sorry guys. Can't seem to figure out how to crop the video properly to get rid of the static bars at the sides. I tried the cropping option on Mpeg Streamclip when I export the episodes, but to no avail it seems. Hope it isn't too distracting.

Hmm....That part looks familiar. I wonder where I've seen that before.

Why isn't the Gutter-Bumbershoot a proper invention when this is?

I would invest in the Snaction invention exchange. Who wouldn't want ninja based candy!? I think that would sell great! Then you come up with a line of Pirate based snacks and make millions! Maybe the pirate snacks could be called "Booty" or something like that.

This is actually one of my favorite movies ever. I can watch this un-riffed any day. It's cheesy and very melodramatic sure. But where on God's green Earth are you you going to hear another closing speech like the one Peter Graves delivers again in cinema?

That small riff at the very beginning with the opening credits. "Hey. It's Donald Trump. He's chasing the good guys away. That doesn't make sense."

"It makes perfect sense!"

Kinda funny how revelent that just became.

A Christmas movie tradition for me now. I just love Lupita. And of course I can't forget about Pitch (Curururururursus!)

Funny thought and I can't help but wonder if the crew who worked on the cartoon Freakazoid were MSTie's. They made an episode parodying The Crawling Eye complete with near exact shot by shot title sequence. Plus the riff that was in this episode "But what does turning them into clowns prove, John?" In the episode, the dangerous cloud on the mountain proved to be the Lobe with a machine that was turning everyone into clowns.

Oh. My. God. There's a long lost educational short that has recently surfaced. It's about parachuting beavers: http://www.npr.org/sections/thetwo-way/2015/10/22/450958213/watch-long-lost-parachuting-beaver-footage-from-1950

This needs to be a Rifftrax video ASAP.

I love Tom's riff at 35:50: "I have a field overrun with snakes, and he must plow it!" "That's weird, but...okay." Of all the heroic challenges in all the mythologies, plowing a field must rate pretty low.

Morning. It's a sleazy morning out there. You're listening to K-PORN homes and reams in the morning. Sleazy, slutty music all morning long. Here's one from Skinny and the Sweat-babies.
