I ADORE this episode: short of the absence of Joel (we can only imagine what that would have been like) I think it epitomizes the finest work of the Comedy Central era.

The main character is delightful fodder. The voice, the Doctor Strange hairdo, the mannerisms, the way he constantly removes and replaces his glasses: he barely needs riffing at all to be made funny.

I just realized the wife in this is the same actress in The Screaming Skull, neat!

Who did best acting job on all MST3K movies? I think lead dude in Tormented and Jack Elam in Girl in Lover's Lane might be candidates.

Last year, I put together a compilation of forumite's favorite host segments. This year, I want to know your favorite MST3k song. Doesn't matter if it's a song by the MST crew or a song from one of the movies. Pick one favorite song, and it will appear in a compilation video. ^_^

If two or more people pick the same song, we'll have to either:

a) Stage a fight to the death.
b) Somebody will have to pick a different song.
c) Attribute one song to more than one forumite.
d) Pillow fight! :D

Also, I don't have any of season 11 or 12, so if your favorite song is in one of those seasons, I'll have to ask for a video of it. ^_^;

So, what's your favorite MST song? :D

It's probably just me, but sometimes the young doctor reminded me of Russell Johnson. (The Professor on Gilligan's Isle) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russell_Johnson

I always wonder how much Joel regrets the goatee era

The only redeeming quality of this movie is the butts.
