Just what does Carol see in Mike? He consistently insulted her father after he had gone missing and, when she wanted to go to the cave to look for the bracelet, he whines and says that he'd rather watch the new movie that just came to the theater. Dude is a selfish weenie.

Wow...Cardoza was a Staff Sgt. in the U.S. Army 3rd infantry division, being a Sgt. Gunner on the 105mm Howitzer in the Korean War. He was awarded two Bronze Battle Stars, the Good Conduct Medal, Korean War Medal, Sharp Shooters medal, Presidents Medal, The Sygmond Rhee Presidential Medal, The Asian War Medal, and others. Still made some horrible movies, but...

"What do we've got here?" We've? Did the director not have the words "CUT, LET'S DO THAT AGAIN" in his vocabulary?

I've watched this a few times now and I don't recall the guys even mentioning the blatant Battlestar Galactica scene rips. Maybe they were somehow prohibited from referencing the show in any way?

Joyce freaks out at any mention of hurting/killing her 80-foot tall, mentally deranged brother. But, any time he kills other people, that doesn't seem to bother her at all. Interesting.

I can't recall seeing a worse ending than the one in this film. The professor takes a bullet for the alien... the alien then takes the professor with him into whatever dimension he returns to... and weenie Bruce grabs the crystal that was left behind, which produces painful burning on his hand, causing him to turn to the camera and scream. Jeez... writing it down actually made it seem worse.

[Per Wikipedia]

Wood wrote and directed the exploitation film The Sinister Urge (1960), starring Kenne Duncan, Duke Moore, and Carl Anthony. Filmed in just five days, this is the last mainstream film Wood directed, although it has grindhouse elements. The film contains an "eerily prescient" scene, in which Carl Anthony's character states, "I look at this slush, and I try to remember, at one time, I made good movies".

The scenes of teenagers at a pizza place had been shot in 1956 for Wood's unfinished juvenile delinquency film Rock and Roll Hell (a.k.a. Hellborn).

The dart gun scene at about 13:00 really confuses me. The white boy aims at the hanky in Corn Job's hip pocket from a moving bicycle. The dart then carries the hanky several feet and in an upward trajectory and sticks to the wall above Corn Job's eye level. Even though the hanky appears to be completely surrounding the dart (if not, how could it have carried it?) the suction cup is somehow sticking to the way through the material. That is some darned fine shooting and one magical dart. Then later in the movie the kid can't hit a big switch a few feet from the cage.

Wait a minute... if the hippie didn't really punch Mr. Woodruff, who did? Did anyone ever see any other episodes of this show? Is that ever revealed?? Come on, I gotta know!
