So this unlikeable, mulleted douchenozzle goes joyriding in an experimental time machine so a marginally attractive reporter will play tonsil-hockey with his lame ass...Using the space-time continuum as his own personal "Lover's Lane"...And somehow the cretin has the gall to be SURPRISED that his absurdly reckless actions have repercussions???

Is a flame thrower really the most practical or efficient weapon to use against helpless civilians? I get that they're tearing down the Bronx, so collateral damage doesn't matter--but its a slow, messy, and needlessly cruel death...They HAVE guns! A bullet to the head would be quick, clean, and merciful by comparison.

In the end, I think the only reason they use them is because burning people to death helps pad the film :P

I recognized a name in the credits, and decided to look it up on IMDB. Sure enough, that's THE Toni Basil in this film--Toni "Oh Mickey you're so fine" Basil...as a character named "Red". I had no clue she was that old! :)
