Okay, this is strange and probably wrong, but...I think I'd like to see a spinoff movie focusing on the adventures of Sam the groundskeeper. For the main theme song, he could sing that little "weird things are coming" ditty.

I love it when they had the remembrance scene of everything that just happened a second ago lol. Did you know that the creepy dark haired guitar player is Ron Wood from the Rolling Stones. He was in that crappy rip-off band called "The Birds", not the other band we all know as 'The Byrds' that sang "turn, turn, turn". I guess for copy-rights sake they hadda put a "Y" in their name because of the other band?

I really like this episode but I always skip over the host segments. They were okay the first couple of times but are kinda dull. Also, can someone explain the Kirk Douglass joke?

Does it strike anyone else as ironic that a movie entitled "Riding With Death" is one of the few films in the MST3K catalog in which not a single character dies?

Ah, the "is Lembach staying" question -- not since the opening scene of "Touch of Evil" has a director so mercilessly kept an audience in a state of heart-pounding suspense...

I'm tickled they didn't dangle Fingal's dongle while bungling his doppel.

Raul's way too good an actor, this makes STREET FIGHTER II the movie LOOK like Casablanca.

Fun fact: Gianni Russo, who plays the shadowy government functionary here, was in "The Godfather." He played Carlo, Talia Shire's abusive husband, who sets up Sonny Corleone to be murdered.

During the segments where Pearl and Mike are talking out in space, I was wondering why the camera keeps moving around, and then I realized that it's Cambot floating around and correcting his position. I love those little touches they throw in!

J.K. Robertson is what you'd get if Garrison Keillor tried to create a Bond villain.

When the teenage thugs from the short are in the diner and talking about how great mechanical pencils are, the riff that came to mind for me was, "Yes, gang members love to brag about their high-quality office supplies." (It'd be a good Servo line, I think.)

OK, John Phillip Law's performance as the villain here is terrible, but I do have to give the movie props for one tiny, footnote-level triumph: They did do a good job of making him up in such a way that his appearance suggests that of a snake.
