Sweet, a reference to the world's truly worst movie, Andy Warhol's Empire State Building--the Movie. (Some call it art, but then again some people would call it art if Warhol had farted in a jar and declared it to be his masterpiece.)

I hate James Bond films. (I don't see the appeal, I don't understand the appeal.) To me, this movie is actually a step up. In a lateral sort of fashion.

We are so sorry, Bill.

Closing credits: "You have seen Hamlet by William Shakespeare"

They LIE!... this is not by William Shakespeare. Sure they use some of his lines. The basic plot is by Bill, other than that....

I am sure the trimming for MST3K helped remove a lot of the lines, but... Rosencrantz and Guildenstern don't even have a line in this production. They are not even mentioned by name. Pelonious never instructs his kids to avoid work in the financial industry. In the original play, Hamlet discusses suicide BEFORE he instructs Ophilia to become a sister == or a whore (I know. I mentioned that already as a response to one of the notes in here, but..). I, personally, believe that Bill would NOT be offended by this episode. I think that, if he were still here, he would have gladly sat in with Mike 'n da bots and tossed in a few of his own riffs.

It disturbs me how Ivanushka(?) is instantly attracted to a 12 year-old girl.

So a single year will allow the wild herd to replenish its population? Even if the horses were getting it on like rabbits, gestation still takes 11 months.
Unless... These are MUTANT wild horses! Within a year, they'll have overrun the valley, all the grass will be gone, and the townspeople live in fear of the day horses discover the taste of human flesh. Now let's watch THAT movie!

Towards the end, the guy shouting "Repent!" with the It's The End sign gets knocked down and trampled, presumably to death. It's a nice little bit of poetic irony. However, his death is done in such a rush of quick, very bad edits that it really makes me wonder why Leonard Maltin liked this movie.
Mike even points this out a minute or two later: "You know, I think the editing philosophy of this movie was 'don't stay on anything too long, it doesn't look good enough.'"

I've come to a conclusion: this movie was a subtle yet damning critique of the AIr Force and the F-104 in particular. It boldly declared: There is nothing interesting about joining the Air Force! These F-104s are a massive waste of taxpayer money!

So the sexually repressed fortune teller makes "zombies" at the drop of a hat and to help cover up she stole an alcoholic possibly transgendered dancers make up.... Because.... That's what you do apparently when you can't get jimmy cricket for a concience but instead rely on the deer tick on your face.
