it is not "cetatous." CRETACEOUS. CRETACEOUS. THERE IS AN "R" IN THERE. ALSO IT IS A PERIOD. NOT AN ERA. THOSE TERMS ARE NOT INTERCHANGEABLE. That whole section drives me crazy. Also, what the hell is up with these scientists?? "We have a recording of the creature and no visual data or any other data to describe this creature." "IT'S A PROTOSHARK/UNDISCOVERED SPECIES." That's a huge leap of faith.

I personally had this ranked as the goofiest movie I've ever seen, until I watched the Speed Racer movie.

I still can't believe they actually decided to call her "Big-boned." The woman is/was a frickin' supermodel! And people wonder why our youth are at risk for eating disorders.

I'm just throwing this question out there: Was there ever a movie featured on MST3K so full of unredeeming characters as this one? I'm not against movies that don't have redeeming characters in general, Ive just never really seen an MST3K movie where I didn't identify with at least one of the characters. This movie's view of humanity is almost as bleak as... well, mine.

So according to wikipedia, the movie billed itself as a "monster musical." Call me picky, but generally in a musical the songs should have something to do with the story and advance the plot.

So the Brits named the royal baby George Alexander Louis. Didn't they realize that his initials are GAL?

That's gonna make it rough in school. On the upside, he can always have his butler beat up anyone who teases him.

OT - OK it's been a long time since I started a thread so here goes. What are your "guilty pleasure movies?" Those mainstream movies largely considered suck, that you like, or own the DVD, but hide it when company comes. And are willing to admit it.

***This thread dedicated the the chickens who lost their lives in the great chicken war.
